If your looking for a club to fly with in West Yorkshire check out our full website to see what we are up to. www.keighleymodelflyer.bmfa.uk Keighley and District Model Aircraft Club KADMAC was founded to promote and co-ordinate the efforts of experienced modellers to assist less experienced modellers in gaining the most from the sport of building and flying model aircraft. There are many different groups within KADMAC flying; Helicopter, Fixed-Wing, Gliders, and many subcategories including electric, indoor, ready-to-fly, aerobatic, scale. There are of course, those who will fly many disciplines. A relatively new addition to the KADMAC events is the hosting of indoor meets, were people fly various models in a sports hall, this is quite often very entertaining and takes a lot of skill. At KADMAC there is everything an aero modeller could wish for in a club of this type, there is the social side with the monthly club meetings and activities at the flying sites, there is the expertise of experienced modellers who will assist beginners with building and flight training, there are flying sites for all disciplines of the hobby, a free Bi-Monthly newsletter, club events and competitions, as well as the insurance cover provided when you join the club. As a first step, prospective new members should attend one of our monthly social meetings. These are held on the first Tuesday of each month, starting at 7.30pm. on the upper floor of the Parkside Social Club, Haworth. All Welcome. We hope you find this website useful and interesting and hope to see you flying shortly!!
